Mr. A. R. Ghanashyam brings a wealth of experience and a distinguished career to Optimax Aces. With a solid educational foundation, including a BSc (Hons) in Physics and MSc in Physics from Central College, Bangalore University, along with a PGDBM from the prestigious Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad, he has built the groundwork for an illustrious professional journey. His 3-year tenure at Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Ltd and 2.5 years at the Shipping Corporation of India Ltd, followed by a dedicated service in the Indian Foreign Service (IFS) since 1982, reflects a commitment to diplomatic excellence and national service.

During his extensive diplomatic career, Mr. Ghanashyam showcased exceptional skills in various capacities, including significant contributions within the Ministry of External Affairs. His roles encompassed diverse areas such as the AFRICA Fund, Northern Division covering Nepal and Bhutan, United Nations Division specializing in Climate Change, Gulf Division managing Middle East affairs and Hajj operations, and heading the Consular, Passport, and Visa Division. His international exposure and diplomatic postings in Damascus, Kathmandu, Brussels, Islamabad, and New York, including a noteworthy role as the Envoy to the Republic of Angola, demonstrate his profound understanding of international affairs. As the High Commissioner to Nigeria, concurrently accredited to several West African countries, Mr. Ghanashyam’s diplomatic excellence, strategic thinking, cross-cultural expertise, and leadership skills make him a crucial Senior Advisor to Optimax Aces.
