His strategic vision was crucial in formulating the Twelfth Five Year Plan for education and establishing the National Policy for Skill Development and Entrepreneurship in 2015, marking significant milestones in India’s educational and skilling landscape.

More recently, Mr. Agarwal pivoted to the logistics and transportation sector, where as the Special Secretary for Logistics at the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India, he has been instrumental in policy development, digital transformation, and creating infrastructure plans aimed at enhancing logistics efficiency and promoting sustainable practices within the sector. His leadership in developing the comprehensive Logistics Reforms Action Plan, including the National Logistics Policy, exemplifies his ability to drive impactful changes in diverse fields.
